Post by: Wes Barager on August 31, 2016, 12:36:30 AM
2002 Beaver Contessa ( Magnum )   Windshield Wipers Not Working ,  Checked Fuse in Front Side Panel (good )
How do you Get to Wiper Motor ,  Or could it be the Switch ?

It seem to me That the Front left dash unit may come out ?  But How ?

Wes,
Could be the switch but more likely is the motor or a bad connection. The motor is located inside the front cap. I think you can access it from underneath the cap. The dash top can also be removed from inside if necessary.

Front  cap is the fiberglass section on the very front of the coach. You can access some equipment if you crawl under it.

Wes,
The first thing that you need to check is to see if you have 12 volts at the wiper motor when you turn it on. If there is 12 volts on the hot wire going into the motor and you have a good ground (be sure to check the ground), you have a bad motor. However, if there is no current to the motor, you probably have a circuit breaker or switch problem. Depending on how your coach is equipped, you could even have a smart wheel problem. You just need to check the circuit to see where the power stops at.
