Title: Fuel additive
Post by: Lawrence Tarnoff on October 04, 2016, 11:22:51 PM
I'm getting ready to put our coach away for the winter.  I'm looking for suggestions on what -- if any -- additives should be added for our Cummins ISL 350 engine.  I will fill up before storage.  Specific brands and quantity for 100 gallon tank will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Larry

Lawrence Tarnoff, I would suggest using a Caterpillar product ( Diesel Fuel Conditioner )
Part Number 256-4968
As sulfur restrictions become more stringent, Caterpillar Diesel Fuel Conditioner will help
compensate for reduced lubricious found in some low sulfur diesel fuels. It will also improve
combustion, fuel storage stability, and fuel system life.  Would suggest storing motorhome
fuel tank full of fuel. Dave Atherton Retired Cat Mechanic
