Title: Living room slide does not work!
Post by: Nick Alvanos on July 03, 2017, 09:29:59 PM
2001, 33 foot Beaver, Patriot, Concord, 3126 Cat.
Two months ago had the coach in at Specialty RV to work on slide.  Used it once worked fine.  Yesterday went to open slide nothing.  Specialty RV wants it back but I'm in northern Washington.  Any ideas?

Nick,
The most common issue with the front slide not working on a 2001 Patriot is the switch that is followed at a distant second by the pump solenoid. However, these 2 fail points are usually intermittent. So you can usually wait a little while, keep trying, and the slide will work, but it will not keep working so the problem needs to be isolated and repaired. If the slide is not working, you can take a volt meter, and run the circuit to identify where the power stops to correct the problem. An inoperative slide is much easier to fix than an intermittent one. Like I use to always say, "I can not fix it if it is not broken".

Hi Nick,

Here is an RV Mobile in Everett;  Address:  11715 Highway 99, Everett, WA 98204, Phone: (425) 355-1170, possibly they can come out and help you with your slide.

Here is another one I found in your area:  All RV Repair, 1038 Cedar Ave, Marysville ยท (360) 659-3912.

We use All Mobile RV Service in Tacoma, and Paul Walters comes up to Renton and does an excellent job for us. However, I checked with them this morning to see if they come up to Everett, unfortunately, they do not.

Goggle and search for rv repair service in Everett, WA and you find a lot of places that can assist you in your area.

Good Luck,

Anita Johnson

Nick,
The attached is also available to members on the Private Members Only board. RV Service reviews.com may be a good resource for your situation.
