Title: 2000 Marquis C12 rear start switch labelling
Post by: Jeremy Parrett on July 14, 2017, 09:18:34 PM
Will someone please take a pic of their rear start switch panel and labelling .
All my labels have been "Cleaned" off !!  I  can only start the engine with the battery combiner switch pressed.
Probably a 2000 to 2002 Marquis will have rear start set up.
     Thanks,    Jeremy  2000 Marquis Amethyst.

Do anyone know what the switch labeled "comp lights" controls? My 2000 Patriot Thunder has the exact same set up and same switch but there are no lights in this compartment. I can't see that it controls anything.  It  has no connection to any of the lights in any of the other bays.  Any ideas? Thanks.

Tom

All I can think of is compartment... so that you could read the gauges at night.  Or perhaps backlighting behind the gauges.

Tom,
You coach originally had a light in that compartment.

My coach has a compartment light on a small reel with a long cord.  It has it's own on/off switch.  The Comp switch, as discussed, turns on back lighting that light up the two instruments.  That's on my coach and I know previous owners made several changes so I do not know if this is original.
