Once again we are getting intermittent Check Engine Lights and Regen , we have had 3 different sensors changed in 3 different states and 4 trips to Cat dealers. The problem seems to occur just before the engine comes up to operating temperature.
latest dealer suggested that the thermostat could be the problem, also does anyone know where I can find a replacement for the ARD head cleaning fluid as Cat has discontinued it.
Thanks in advance .

Greg, reguarding Cat C-9 Regeneration lamp on. Have two questions for your problem.
Has the DPF filter been changed or washed, answer is no the intake end if plugged will
trigger lamp on. Second crack in the ARD head will trigger lamp on. note: ARD head has
been a problemic area with the regeneration system. Long idle time engine running will
trigger lamp on. Dave Atherton Retired Cat Mechanic.

Also, I believe the KYNETX nozzle cleaner will work. It has the same applicator.

Thanks Chuck,
I have used the KYNETY nozzle cleaner, supplied by a west coast Cat dealer but have not found a source since.
Do you have a source?
Thanks
Greg

No I don't. Have you tried buying direct from KYNETX?

Greg, I have prob 2 or 3 bottles of the cat cleaner fluid aka liquid gold that you are welcome to as I no longer need them. Feel free to pm me your shipping address and I'll send to you.

Thanks Greg, I would appreciate the cleaner as we are on the road after finishing the Maritime Rakky.
We will be at Cherry Hill in 10 days, could you send it there.
