Title: Fuse Location for 99 Monterrey
Post by: Kerry Anderson on November 05, 2017, 03:57:27 PM
Have a 1999 Monterrey Seacliffe 36' and a 330 CAT with one slide.

I changed my batteries and now my generator won't start from inside the coach also my preheat switch light  doesn't light up.  Can anyone tell me where these items are fused?  I have checked almost everywhere for these fuses.

Kerry,
Does the generator start from the switch at the generator? Also I think there is a 200amp fuse in the battery bay between the battery cutoff switch and the generator & front electrical bay but if it was bad, you'd have no 12v power.

Kerry

The generator has a plug that you can see from the engine bay
The plug is at the top forward and inboard corner of the generator.
Check it to feel for any looseness.

For future reference, our generator has two mini auto fuses under the 4" square plate near the starter button on the generator.  I think one or so screws hold the 4" square plate in place.
