Title: Where is the TV antenna amp switch located?
Post by: Mike Shumack on November 23, 2017, 03:48:30 PM
The manual shows a TV antenna "shore-cable/antenna" switch. Where is this switch located? I have looked in every compartment.

Is the TV antenna "Power Switch" referenced in the top of the attached photo the same switch show in the lower photo?
Maybe previous owner removed it?

Mike, the tv amplifier switch in your bottom photo is the 12 volt supply you need to amplify your TV antenna by depressing the center button.

But I can't find any "buttons" or a panel that looks like the one in the picture.

Mine is located on the passenger side of the forward A/V compartment over the windshield. Hard to see but once you find it, it’s easy to reach in blindly and push the button.

Mike,
Look in the compartment above the windshield and next to the entry.  Most of the TV antenna amp switches are located on the bulkhead on the passenger side.  It should have a red light with a twist control above it and a button below it.  If using cable, the light must be out.  If using local antenna, you want the light on.

Our TV antenna amp control is located on the copilot's side, up high over the entry steps.  It's a smaller cupboard-style door that fips up towards the ceiling.  On the back wall of the shallow space, left to right, is the TV antenna amp switch, the left living room slide control button, the right living room slide control button, and the manual open/close Girard awning button (if the remote gets lost or doesn't work).
