Title: Aqua Hot Leaking Disel
Post by: Bobby Kirk on December 02, 2017, 02:13:52 AM
I have a 2006 Beaver Marquis.  Was checking Aquq Hot and noticed diesel dripping from opening where exhaust pipe comes from under coach. The unit did not light. Was wondering .what is the best way to get to the area where the problem is coming from. All help appreciated

Bobby, from my limited knowledge about the Aqua-hot. From what I know about diesel fuel oil burners, the only way oil could get into the burn chamber would have to be through the burner nozzle. My guess is the igniter electrodes are not firing, allowing raw fuel to be pumped into the chamber, thus out through the exhaust pipe.

Just my $.02

Marty had a leak and rebuilt the fuel pump.  Jay helped.  I shot a video for anyone wanting to do it.

At the end, I had some fun with a special effect that suggests there was trouble, but there wasn't.

Bill's video along with many other coach maintenance related videos is available in the Video Links post in the Private Members Only board.

My HydroHot fuel pump video has not been watched for a couple years.  No action whatsoever.

11 of you started it and 5 of you actually finished it!  I'm seeing Marty today for lunch.  I'll try to remember to tell him he has become a famous actor.
