I don't have a key for the entrance door on my 2005 Patriot. I would like to get one - in case the door is ever locked by remote and the remote won't unlock it. I need a manual way to unlock the door.
I think the outside Door handles were made by TriMark. Looking at their webpage, they don't have a product that is shaped like mine (mostly rectangular with sharp-ish corners). The closest I see if the 030-1400 model which is more rounded in the corners. TriMark does not have any data on older model parts.
I was going to contact TriMark and see if I can get a new lock cylinder with a key, but I would like to make sure what I have is a TriMark.
Does anyone know for sure? Does anyone know if the key cylinder is replaceable?
Thanks again for your help.

Try this. Bought one from here earlier this year. Great service & price, and the correct piece for my 2005 Monterey.

I would think if you have to take off to replace the old one, why not take it to a lock smith and have it rekeyed?

I think it would save me downtime, and probably money, to just order a cylinder/key on-line and install it myself. And if I take everything to a locksmith, I have to remove the entire assembly (rather then just the cylinder). Also, I would think the bill would be at least $50 to go to a locksmith (does anyone do anything for less than $50 these days?).
I don't know what a cylinder/key costs but I would be surprised if it's over $25 with shipping.
But if I can't buy a cylinder/key, then the locksmith is my only choice.

FWIW - Taking the cylinder out requires taking the door panel off anyway, the biggest chore of the job. From there, it’s one bolt on the bracket and three rod clips to get the whole mechanism out. Swapping the whole unit out for a 12 year old one improved the action greatly and was worth the swap IMO.

Thanks Neal. I'm taking your advise and getting the complete handle assembly with keys.
