Title: CMP displays battery voltages switched

When our CMP shows "Chassis Battery Volt", it is displaying the house battery voltage. When displaying the "House Battery Volt", it displays the voltage of the chassis/engine batteries. Voltages confirmed by multimeter at the batteries. I accepted this as an oddity, but have recently been wondering if this switch may be affecting battery charging. I am understanding that the CMP only is a display and does not control anything. Am I correct? How would I go about fixing the display mix-up if I wanted to?
