Some of the glass ceiling light covers in my 07 Beaver are extremely difficult /impossible to remove.
Trying to replace halogens with LED's. Any suggestions?
I have actually considered breaking the glass and getting a new glass cover.

Some of them can be real tough to remove. I found that using rubber/latex gloves gives more grip when pushing up and twisting the lens.

I found great success with inserting a flat object (screwdriver carefully all the way around) between the glass and ceiling, breaking the seal between the two and dropping the whole fixture, then unscrewing the cover.

As Steve mentions, gloves with a rubber like texture will offer more twisting torque ability while pressing up to disengage the ring tabs. The ceiling material on some coaches often presents a lot of resistance to both the compression and the twisting forces.
If you happen to have some already onboard and handy, I’ve used successfully that rubbery mesh anti-skid stuff used by many of us on shelves and counters to keep things from sliding; a handful of it offers a ton more turning torque on the metal rim for both removing and reinstalling them. It also can be used to grasp the J10 lamps that like any halogen can be ruined by the oils on fingerprints, but if you’re tossing them in favor of LEDs you likely don’t care.

If you don't feel like bothering with your existing lights. I have 3 inch LED lights with frosted lens that are a direct replacements. My Email address is roys.inbox@sbcglobal.net

I have also had trouble removing lens cover. Found a large pair of channelocks used gently, was the trick.
