Just published a story of what happened to a CAT engine following application of starter fluid. It's in Ask Dave; Engine Concerns...  (Bottom Line: Don't use it).

Thanks Steve, I could relate a couple stories about the use of starter fluid in a truck engine. Saw a guy blow the top off a KW air cleaner one real cold morning in Utah.
