Any one added a generator exhaust extension without drilling holes in the coach to secure it?

If you are talking about a Genturi to exhaust upwards, we secure it part way up with a bungee and a couple of suction cups attached to the drivers side window.

On our Genturi, I have to take the chrome tip off and then it fits onto the exhaust pipe.  I drilled to holes into the exhaust pipe to hold it in place with a 3 inch screw thru the genturi and the exhaust pipe.  I also use plumber's tape to help hold the weight so that it won't cause damage to where the exhaust pipe connects to the generator.

CAMCO makes a suction cup set that replaces the original anchors. The model number is 44850. I have been using them with generally positive results. Like any suction cup device, a clean surface is necessary.
