Title: Magnum toilet
Post by: Les Marzec on January 27, 2011, 12:01:28 AM
Has anyone had experience with the Magnum Opus(electronic) toilet on a Patriot not opening the valve?  The water runs and a red light is on for the DO NOT FLUSH circuit.  Mine just stopped working and I have unplugged all of the connections hoping to reset, but that hasn't helped.  Not good when you are dry camping for a couple of days.

Thanks

Hi Les sorry to hear about the pot problem, we have the same unit and it's been trouble free. I did look for the manual but was not able to locate it for the trouble shooting, sorry. I would give the folks a Bend a call
I am sure the ccould provide some phone help

Jerry

Thanks for info.  My manual did not say much either.  I talked to Bend and he had me do some stuff, none of that helped.  I was looking for a site to talk to support at Sealand, but couldnt find one for them.

Don't know if this is of any use to you, Les, given you have an electronic version, but check here: http://www.ehow.com/how_4692928_repair-sealand-marine-rv-toilet.html

Also, perhaps Dometic support can help, since they own Sealand: http://www.sealandtechnology.com/prodsmtoilet.asp.

Thanks for info.  I found the dometic webpage and have their support number.  I will call them in AM.  The troubleshooting manual I found is not for the one I have.  Mine has 16 lights and the manual only has 13.  So, I will call them in AM. Hopefully I will be up and running tomorrow.

Thanks for all of the help.

Sorry guys, my original post of a link to eHow didn't go right.  I've corrected it so it should work now.
