Title: windshield wiper problem

Hello all,
My windshield wiper has two rods from the wiper going down to the body and motor. The smaller rod is cross over the larger one, therefore will not lay close to the windshield mullion but in the middle of the windshield. Best way to correct this?

Can you post a picture?

Are you talking about the "pantograph style" wiper arms (the part pointed to in the drawing)?
