Has anyone connected a thermostat to their inverter to activate the autostart? We have a dog and are concerned about leaving him in summer heat for very long without the autostart safeguard.
We have a Xantrex RV2512M and the remote has all the autostart options but the one for temperature.
The manual says that a thermostat must be connected to the inverter and once enabled from the remote, the autostart operates from the thermostat signal. Wondered if anyone has done this. And, if so how did it work?
The other option is the Onan wireless autostart remote.
