Title: CLEANING CURTAINS?
Post by: Steve Glaser on July 10, 2018, 04:58:25 PM
WE HAVE A 2005 SANTIAM WITH PULL AROUND WHITE CURTAINS FOR THE WINDSHIELD/SIDE WINDOWS.  THEY ARE GETTING DIRTY AND WE WOULD LIKE TO CLEAN THEM.

SHOULD WE WASH THEM OR TAKE TO DRY CLEANERS?

REALLY DON'T WANT TO RUIN THEM AND HAVE TO REPLACE!

THANKS!

We have the manual pull around curtain for the windshield. A couple of years ago we had it cleaned (cost $60..I believe they charged by the pleat) and it came out wonderfully clean.

We dry clean ours every year or so.  About $45 I think.

Steve, does yours have the wire for the motor running through the top of the curtain?  Ours has one and I have been really hesitant to remove it for obvious reasons.  Thanks
Jerry

No wire in ours as there is no motor for the curtain.  Sorry so late in the reply.
