The subject extended service intervals why it is not recommended. Extended oil drain intervals
may cause levels of soot in the engine oil. The elevated levels of soot deplete the additive package
of the oil. This can affect the operations of the high pressure oil system ( or known as HEUI System ).
Many questions regarding low oil and fuel pressure along with low power which falls into elevated
soot levels and breaking down of engine oil. I have touched on Oil samples at every engine oil change
Intervals also falls into very high soot levels and high particle count. Internal engine wear many
would think of dirty air filter element not thinking internal wear can come from engine oil break down.
