I have a FET overload Alarm on my inverter. There is a 01 Temp.. What is a FET and what is the 01 Temp.?
-
There is some info on that temp sensor in this thread. http://beaveramb.org/forum/index.php/topic,8573.msg59035.html#msg59035
That is the "Field Effect Transformer". The manual says "the higher the count, the lower the temperature". So your (very low count) reading would indicate it is very hot (or sensor has failed). Normal on my coach is around 213 Counts for the FET.

Thanks Mike. Its raining now . I will look at it in the morning.

I recall reading something about another person with high temp alarm and in that case it was due to a faulty fan(s) inside the Inverter (but not sure if that person had a Magnum brand or Xantrex).
Perhaps you could test by setting a portable fan blowing on front of Inverter and see if the temp reading changes.

I'll use a fan when I get out of church. Thanks gain.

if your still working this issue - here is a nice YouTube video on troubleshooting the Magnum inverter.
