Greetings forum folks,
You know that storage space in the compartments is always a difficult situation at best. I have always tried my best to apply the theory "if you don't use it then loose it" Lately I've noticed that dead space by the carpeted door that covers the holding tanks heated compartment in bay 4. So in my minds eye I pictured a peg board there, So off to Home Depot and bought a 2' by 4' peg board and a "starter pack" of assorted hooks and brackets. Painted it to match the carpet and mounted it to the carpeted door. Great for mounting that stuff you can't find when you need it.

Neat idea Fred!

Oh, mannn... I don’t have a carpeted door quite like that 🥺.
But great idea for those that do, Fred! I’ll bet if I tried I could add a swing-out version on a piano hinge in a bay somewhere. I did that in several places in my garage.

We have plenty of room already. I don't want Leslie taking more stuff. She already uses 25 of the bedroom storage compartments. I use 7 or 8... and 2 large drawers of the 7 or 8 are empty but don't tell her.

WOW is all I say. I was thinking if putting tools on aboard like they do in the military. My better half said "really"!?! Glad my boy was there to back me up..
Great idea for dead space!
