What did Beaver originally use to seal around everything on the roof

Circa 2005, I'll bet it was Dicor; But now, I think BCS, for one, uses ProFlex.

Do you know what the advantages of Proflex over Dicor are?

Not a clue, Steve. I haven't had to re-caulk anything on my Beaver, so my only experience is with Dicor on my previous 5ver and (current) small TT. I'll bet a call to BCS would reveal their "Caulking or Sealing Schedule" for all things Beaver. Would be informative. Had BCS re-install my front clearance lights last fall as I complained of a persistent, intermittent window water leak. Paul (the mechanic) correctly saw that the clearance lights were the problem. So new lights and caulk job by Paul fixed our window leak. Much easier than replacing the window!!

    I've been using Dicor non-self leveling sealer for the last 15 years. Clean with denatured alcohol first, then use caulking gun to apply fat bead. Then use a 2" throw away paint brush to slowly go over and smooth in one direction and then reverse one last time. About 5 minutes later it looks like the factory did it. Fred

Fred, wouldn’t you use that on vertical walls and self-leveling Dicor on the roof?

  That is what the instructions are inclined. The reason I use it is because it still levels out but is 3 times thicker than self- leveling and resembles the original application from the factory. Fred
