Title: rear brake parts (rotor and pads) for 1999 Beaver Marquis
Post by: Jeff Wheless on April 07, 2020, 11:56:00 PM
Hi,

I am trying to track down the part numbers for the rear rotor (right) and pads for both.   COVID seems to be shutting down some of the normal channels.    I has seen a post from Gerald that gave the following part numbers, but sure it is applicable or not:

http://beaveramb.org/forum/index.php/topic,5895.msg44213.html#msg44213

"I bought a case of clay based grease from an oil field lubrication specially supplier when I lived in Houston years ago, so I have no needed any more yet. If needed, I can dig up their name.

In case anyone else needs the part numbers for the Marquis Meritor ADB brake system, they are below.

Meritor brake part numbers for 2000 Marquis
Rotors;            3218K  167
Pads;               S2R7017173
Helper springs; Kit 15018"

Many thanks as always.  An amazing group here!

Jeff

Jeff,
The part numbers that you listed for my 2000 Marquis are also applicable to your 99 Marquis. The brake pads and rotors are the same on all 4 wheels, so wheel location does not matter. The brake pad number that you have is for one wheel, but Meritor now sells a set for  both wheels (4 pads) on an axle also, but any good truck parts house will be able to cross-reference the numbers. These brakes have been out of use on new applications for years, so you may need to wait a few days for the parts, but there are a lot of tour buses, fire trucks, and RVs that used them, so parts are readily available.

Fleet Pride truck parts is a good source for your Meritor braking system, and they will ship to your location.
