Title: 96 Patriot savannah relays
Post by: Jeff Johnson on May 30, 2020, 08:18:20 PM
Throwing this  out there to see if anyone has this an answer to this.
My wiring layout diagram has 5 relays pictured but on mine there is 6, all factory installed.
My issue is this: is the the wiring layout diagram correct reading from right to left or left to right and if so what is the 6th relay on the end  for?
Thanks in advance for all replies.
Jeff

John,
It would be helpful if you could attach the drawing you are referring to.

Sorry about that Steve. The drawing in question is the one my coach has on the 12 vdc electrical bay door, (just below the drivers seat) where it shows all the solenoids, relays, breakers etc.
There are actually six ice cube or Bosch 5 pin relays lined up in a row and the diagram shows there to be only five.
The headlight relay fix works awesome btw!

Hope this helps and thank you Steve.

Jeff,
Check the wires to and from the relays. Those going to pins 37, 87 or 87A should be labeled with the relay function.

Steve,
Unfortunately the wires are only color coded and nothing is labeled.
