Broken right front jack wire
« on: July 10, 2021, 07:27:28 PM »
Hi All

Got home from quick camping trip and went to lower front jacks and no go. They are being energized but no movement. I found a broken wire on the right front jack, attached a photo. It is HWH hydraulic system.

Thanks

Red insulation indicates 12V power to jacks.

If that wire is down near the hydraulic ram I think it is likely supposed to be hooked to a sensor or switch on the side of the hydraulic ram.
If so you'll have to replace that switch.

The single red wire should run to a ( pressure switch ) at the hydraulic lift cylinder each cylinder should have one .
The controller uses these pressure switches to balance the lifting action in case one Jack has to travel farther to the ground
The switches are normally open and close at 140 PSI .
I don't think the lost of a pressure switch wire would keep the system from working at all.
I think you have another issue

First check your control panel to figure out which model system you have the go to HWHs web site technical library and follow the manuals troubleshooting section for you model it should walk you through the diagnosis.

Hope this helps
