‘05 Beaver Monterey HWH Air Leveling System
« on: August 04, 2021, 04:42:47 PM »
We own a 2005 Beaver Monterey Laguna.  Our leveling system has stopped working.

The coach does air up to travel mode.

Once parked, (slides out, engine on) we press the level button on the system panel.  Nothing happens.

The travel mode light is the only light that glows.

Over a 24 to 48 hour period the drivers side of the coach gradually deflates.

Our biggest hurdle is finding a tech that knows something about this system.
We are currently in the Cincinnati Ohio area.

We live full time in our unit.

Help, suggestions, etc. appreciated.

Doug
If your mechanically inclined the coach assist library has the service troubleshooting manual for the air !evening system .
Even if you don't tackle the job your self the trouble shooting will give you a good knowledge of the systems operation and allow you to point the service tech in the right direction.

Hope this helps

Doug,
In addition to Eric's advice re the service manuals in Coach Assist, you may want to check to connection of the cable that runs to the underside of the control panel on the driver's console.

We have a 05 Monterey and had some issues
Since you live full time in your coach, and it drives ok, you may want to get it fixed right the first time if major service is needed
HWH is located in Moscow Iowa, very close to Interstate 80 just outside of Iowa City
You can stay in your coach as they fix it at the factory.
We had some issues and made an appointment for first thing in the morning
Had us out in just a couple of hours
They have hook ups onsite
Actually very reasonable price as well
Your only 500 miles away

I have a 2005 Monterey Laguna IV. This happens to me when I hit the emergency stop of the air leveling when Becky says we are level enough, especially in a situation where the front is coming up and the rear is going down. A new Beaver mud flap is $600+. Bent one, won't do it again.

It happens when I go to air up in the morning when we are getting ready to leave, and the slides need to come in. So, I do this, and all is well.

In your electrical bay there is an HWH reset button that right next to the toggle switch for the generator slide. Its bright red. Hit it once and you should be good to go.

Here's a picture below. Click on it to enlarge it.

There are LED lights in the control box that will help with troubleshooting, and several automotive-type fuses.
