2002 Patriot Fresh Water Tank Sensor
« on: February 15, 2022, 07:04:26 PM »
The fresh water sensor on my coach is indicating 68% full when it's empty.
Any body have any suggestions for probable cause and corrective action?

Thank you

Jack,
I have had a 99PT and now have a 2005PT.  We have owned a Beaver since 2001.  I have heard numerous complaints about all tank sensors and read-outs being incorrect.  The only solution I have heard were to buy outside the tank sensors.  Haven't read many complaints about them.  I know this doesn't answer your question, but it is a reply that may help you.  Don't know if anyone has ever fixed the inside tank sensors Beaver used to install and do not know if that is the type in your rig.

All is not lost: check out the Aladdin manuals in coach assist at beaveramb.org

new sensors are available: http://www.nwrvsupply.com/139/16622728.html

Yours may need to be recalibrated or simply remove and reinstall the phone plug at the sensor and at the tank interface board to remove any corrosion.
