Hydrohot troubleshooting
« on: March 20, 2022, 10:28:38 PM »
Well, I finally got my hydrohot working once again.
I replaced the fuel nozzle during the yearly maintenance, also the fuel filter.

Then it sounded as if the motor was lagging when turning on the switch. I decided to take the unit apart, and jump the motor to see how it ran. Time for a replacement.
Ordered a new motor and replaced it, quite simple job.

After putting it back together I went to start it then it wouldnt fire up.
Removed the ignition coil and bench checked it, no fire. I then ordered a newe coil and waited for it for three days. Received and installed the ignition coil.

Running superb now and the best its done in 10 years. Not very difficult when using the manual for troubleshooting and repairing yourself.
