Keyless entry

Hi,

The keyless entry keypad on our 2006 Monterey is not working.  The button lights just stay on, and it does is unresponsive.  The key fob does work.  We have not had any rain for a long while, so I don't think it could be that.  Any help troubleshooting this would be appreciated.

I found the control module which is located behind my instrument panel.  The reset button did not do anything.  Someone had mentioned unplugging the keypad from the module and plugging it back in.  I remembered that my wiring diagrams included the "Keyless Entry System" which made it obvious that the small black connector was the comm link to the keypad.  I unplugged it and plugged it back in.  The keypad is now back to normal.
