Problem with Norcold 1200
« on: August 27, 2011, 08:08:10 PM »
I had my first recall done about a six months ago, after waiting for the parts for 6 weeks.  It seems Norcold sent the parts out under the previous owners name, and the dealer tossed them aside after not recognizing the name.  Anyway, got the repair done, but no sign of the gas rebate - probably was also mailed to the previous owner.  Now, I have a new problem with the Norcold 1200.  It will not log on to either LP or AC or even AU, but the fridge is on and running and I am under full plug in power.  I can't tell is its set on 1 or 9, and can only tell if its running on LP, if I open the access door and try to listen for the burn chamber.  Anyone have ideas on this?  Thanks.

For our Dometic in our '06 Monterey, Kerry, there is in the bathroom a cabinet door that covers several breaker and fuse boxes, and the Multiplex junction boxes.  One of smaller boxes is for some of the 12volt circuits, and behind its black cover, which has to be pried off, is a refer fuse.  In theory it protects certain fridge 12v circuits, such as flame ignition and panel readout.  I'm not sure that your fuse is blown since, if I read you correctly, you have LP flame.

However you might search out and check that 12v fuse, as your coach may be different than mine and have a seperate LP ignitor fuse that's intact, and your LCD panel fuse may indeed be blown.
