kitchen cabinets draws
« on: August 13, 2023, 06:21:32 PM »
I have 2002 Marquis and cheery wood cabinets. Have an ice maker and want to remove and replace it with a drawer or one big cabinet door. Where can I find the parts?

George,

A good cabinet shop should be able to match a new cabinet to your old ones. The stain will be the tough part, but they can do a pretty good job especially if you have a small trim piece that they can match it to.

George,
Bill's advice is spot on. Most Beaver cabinets in cherry will match unstained cherry with polyurethane. If you decide to use stain, use ZAR. Don't waste your time with Minwax as  I've found it not to be a true cherry color. Ace often has ZAR.
