TV Lift Wiring from Intellitec Module
« on: February 17, 2024, 04:58:00 PM »
The tv lift control unit has stopped lowering the tv.  It works fine raising it.  In removing the control unit for repair, I failed to note which of the 3 wires from the Intellitc control unit went to which terminal on the controller, my bad.

According to the wiring diagrams I have for the coach there should be a green, yellow and brown wires coming from the Intellitec module.  The wires in my coach are orange, red, and brown.

Any help would be appreciated.

Years ago we had a similar but opposite problem.  The momentary switch would lower the TV but not raise it.  Our coach predates the Intellitec device.  Anyways, when I removed the momentary switch and simply touched/untouched the wires repeatedly, the TV would raise and lower beautifully with each touch and untouch.  I replaced the momentary switch and it has raised and lowered fine until the mechanical linkage slipped a few years ago.  After re-adjusting and tightening the linkage, the TV has worked like new.

Don,
Per the manual in Coach Assist, the brown wire should have coach power (12V) and is connected to the center terminal. The other 2 wires are up/down so hook them up so the lift motion agrees with the up/down switches.

Steve,

I has forgotten the troubleshooting guide was on coach assist...thanks for the reminder.  Also, I noticed in the wiring diagram section that there is not one for a 2006 marquis.  I have one and would be happy to share it.  Is there a process to get it posted?

Thanks again.

Steve,

I just checked the wires for voltage with a meter and found 12 volts and the red wire... not at the brown.  Based on that I am assuming that I should put it on the center terminal, do you agree?

Agree.
re the 06  wiring diagrams, would be great to have them. Best was to to convert them to a pdf file. Due to size / email limitations, you can mail me thumb drive (I'll return) or a cd. Another option is put it in your drop box acct and give me access to it.
