Drive Shaft U Joint bolt torque spec
« on: September 26, 2025, 04:26:17 PM »
Good Morning:

Recently had a short tow, needed to reconnect driveshaft at differential.  I snugged them up, but have not set the torque yet.  Does anyone have a spec on these, or if you can tell me where to find?

John
It depends on the size of the yoke bolts whether or not kit has "u" bolts , end caps or straps with bolts .

This link should help it covers drive shaft mounting ( at the bottom of the page)

Hope this helps

Good time to relube if you haven't already. My first time lubing the u joints I had to loosen a few of the bolts to get the grease to move through.
