I had to replace my SM209 unit on my 2001 Beaver Marquis. After looking at options to rebuild the SM209 (which appears to be an issue, since the SM210 is the new and improved version), I ended up buying a new SM210, which to my surprise is still manufactured by IMMI, the company that purchased VIP. I almost made the mistake of purchasing the unit from a reseller for over $700.00, where IMMI sells new units for $450.00.
