Slide hydraulics

For those of you that have 2002 models (or any model year) with hydraulic slides check your hoses. It seems some of them got a batch of defective or sub standard hydraulic line. I was fortunate and mine let go in my driveway. The lines develop blisters on the outside covering and then let go. Mine had blisters all the way from the pump to the slave cylinder at the slide. I thought this was odd and I told my neighbor so he could check and we found out his had already been changed. I called Beaver Coach Sales in Bend OR. and was told that has happened many times and they replace the lines with 5000psi line instead of the 2750psi line that the coaches come with. Just a heads up for everbody. I was lucky it burst in my driveway where I could repair it and not in a campground.  Marty
