Battery voltage

When we are traveling the silver leaf shows the battery voltage between 13.8 and 14.1. Is this normal? It never seems to drop below 13.8 until the engine is shut off.
Also the transmission temperature is running 203 to 207 is normal? Mike

While running, the voltage reading should be the Alternator output voltage.  To get battery voltage, you will need to shut down and let the batteries rest for a while, then measure with a voltmeter.

Silverleaf with engine running on my coach reads 14.4 volts, which is the regulator voltage float  output. With engine shut down the battery voltage should settle at around 13.2 volts until you start using DC appliances, lights etc.

Transmission temperature on my Allison used to be around 200 deg F. Switching to Transynd last year dropped the temperature to 175 deg F.......a huge difference.

Mike, I have an 08 Contessa, so ours should be pretty close to the same if you have a 2007+ engine, serial number beginning with C9S.

My transmission temperature is the same as yours and goes up to the 215 range on long hill climbs.  FWIW, I tow a 5K lbs vehicle.  Your voltages are normal when running.  Keep in mind this is the regulated alternator output.  It does give some indication of whether the chassis batteries are okay, but this is not the battery voltage.

It's exactly what mine does.
