Aladdin tank monitor inop

Well it has finally happened. My grey water tank reads 57% all the time. I was able to get to the sensors and plugged the grey into the black which showed 3%. After the switch the black showed 57% just like the grey was showing. When I put the connectors back to normal the black again showed 3% and the grey still 57%. So, now that I have confused you, does that mean I have a sensor problem or wire problem? It seems like a wire to me since the reading is 57% no matter which sensor it's plugged into. Thanks for any input!

Larry,
From your description, it sounds like you have a sensor problem if your tanks are empty. If you can not recalibrate the sensor on the gray water tank and get it to read correctly, you will need to replace it.

Ok, calibrated to zero with empty tank as per instructions and grey tank level was now 0%. began filling tank to see if it would indicate level change. No change was indicated, it continued to read 0 even as water was filling tank. Raw reading stayed at 200 the whole time. It definitely appears to be a bad sensor. I got 2 ordered from Beaver Coach Sales. Thanks for your help Gerald!

Would you like me to email you the Aladdin trouble shooting manual. It's a .pdf of a fax Monaco sent someone in 2008.

Bill
I am having the same problems with my '03 PT. Could you send me a copy of the troubleshooting manual as well?
I really appreciate it.
Thanks

I have emailed the guide to Marc, Les, Jeff and Tim Bentley. Tim said he would get in the Coach Assist section of
http://www.beaveramb.org/
when he can.
