Air springs on 1989 Marquis

We took our rig to Camping World at Wood Village, outside Portland, to have our air springs (air bags?) replaced as they are showing some age cracks. Thought we would do preventive maintenance before snowbirding next year. Anyway, they tell us that you have to nearly remove the front axle to change the front bags and the bags we ordered for the back were not the right ones (used the Gillig numbers) so ended up with nothing! Has anyone heard of this axle issue with replacing the front bags? What is the name/number of the people we should call down in Bend to get some real help here?

Ted,
Ken Carpenter (800-843-2967) at Beaver Coach Sales should be able to give you an idea of the time (labor cost) required for replacing the air bags on your coach. Then you can ask for the Parts Department, and they will be able to help you with the parts issues.

You may also want to call Henderson's Line-up in Grant's Pass. They do excellent work and they are suspension specialist. Parts;  888-898-3281 ext.  313
Service;  800-245-8309 ext.  301
