CMP-20 to Silverleaf connection
« on: April 08, 2013, 04:45:55 AM »
My Silverleaf works well.  The CMP-20 works well.  However. the CMP-20 quit talking to the Silverleaf.  All of the values on the Silverleaf Information page have gone to 0 (Zero).  I unplugged the CMP-20 panel and reattached it, but no change.  The last time out, everything worked.  Any suggestions where to start looking for the missing link?

Thank you for your interest.

Larry,
My suggestion would be to call Martin Perlot at Silverleaf. He was very involved in the design and installation of the Silverleaf systems in these coaches, so he probably can answer your questions.

This happen to my unit and the communication (phone style) cord had to be replaced down the door frame and through the frame rail in the basement.  Was a real pain.  Also, do not forget to make sure the RJ plug is correctly wired or it will not work.

Thank you Gerald,

I phoned SilverLeaf.  The solution was to turn off the coach battery bank, and reconnect it.  That reset the SilverLeaf unit in the bay.  Now all works as it should . . . until next time.  They will have a representative at the Birthday Bash in 7 Feathers.
