Awning Wind Sensor

So I think a tree limb reached out and broke my wind sensor for my awning! I've had no luck locally finding a replacement! Any help?

Girard will be happy to sell you a new one.  If you have the "old style" with cups on the ends you will have to replace the entire sensor.  If you have the newer style with the "s-shaped" vanes you can buy a replacement vane set.

I know that some people have used replacement anemometer cups from Davis Instruments (and maybe others), but I didn't try that.

Since it is sometimes difficult to find, the Girard RV website is: http://www.girardsystems.com/rv/

Joel, I have a Brustor awning and the sensor has (3) cups (correction, HAD (3) cups)

Randy,
You have a Girard Awning. Brustor is the European Company that originated the awning design that Girard adapted to motorhomes. Call Girard in the morning (http://www.girardrv.com/) and tell them what you need. They have the parts in stock and they will probably be able to ship them to you tomorrow.

You need a new anemometer (wind sensor).
