Turn Signal Lever
« on: April 22, 2013, 11:26:35 PM »
We recently purchased a 1997 Marquis built on a Gillig chassis. One problem I need to fix right away is a loose turn signal lever which is affecting the left turn signal. I have to hold the lever in a certain position for it to work. Not affecting the right position. I called Gillig and they told me Beaver installed the steering column and wheel so I should contact them, or find someone locally to fix it. Anyone know if this will be an easy fix? I have an appointment at Camping World for another issue, so I may have them look at it for opinion and/or quote. Thanks

Gary,
I can not tell what the problem is with your turn signals from your limited description, but it should be a simple repair for any qualified automotive electrician, (a skill that I do not think is common at Camping World). It could be anything from loose screws to a defective turn signal switch, but either one is a relatively simple repair.
