Does anybody know the Dayco part number for the serpentine belt on a C12 Cat in an 03 Marquis?
My local Napa truck parts center tried to find one and after calling Beaver, I found that they were made for Magnum by Dayco but
I cant believe there is not an existing belt that can be used.

William,
The serpentine belt on my 2000 C-12 is a Gates K081153 or the heavy duty version is K081153HD. I think that your coach uses the same belt. I just purchased a HD version from Amazon for $36, and the standard version was only $32. You can search on this forum for serpentine belt, and you will find several threads that deal the C-12 belt.

I have a 2002 Marquis with the 505HP Cat which is the same C12 engine version you have. I do not think there was a change in belt but you may want to check the circumference to be sure. If your original belt that was called for was a Dayco 20-9612 or a Magnum 0206319 you can use a NAPA 25-081153 which is made by Gates. If you add an HD to the end of that you will get the Green Fleetrunner version which has special heat resistant compounds and a much longer 3X life vs a standard belt. In a NAPA line that would be 25-081153HD and in a Gates line that would be a K081153HD. Slight upcharge for the HD version but it more than makes up for it in belt life.

This is not a direct PN cross. I measured the circumference of the old belt at 115 and 3/8th inches. The new belt in a Fleetrunner version (which does not stretch by compound design, may actually shorten slightly) measures 116 and 1/4inches. The new belt centers well on the tensioner range and I have been running it several years now. If you measure the outside circumference of your old belt and it is about 115 and a half inches then I would not hesitate to use the Fleetrunner PN that I provided here. Hope this helps.

Gerald, By the time I posted you were already there :-) but I had not had my coffee yet. You Texans are fast on the draw, in the old days I would have been on Boot Hill by now pushing up Blue Bonnets.....
