Bargman Red Clearance Lights
« on: October 09, 2013, 01:29:14 AM »
As many of you may have discovered, the rectangular Bargman red clearance lights (P/N 34-68-510) are no longer available. These are used on the older Beavers. You can still get the amber ones at places like CW, but the reds are gone forever.

I have about 6 extra brand new ones that I would be willing to sell. Drop me a PM if interested.

Bargman was sold in 2010 and the buyer went bankrupt and out of business. The Bargman product line is now marketed through dealers only by Cequent Industries.

If you go to their website: http://www.bargman.com/content/products.aspx?lvl=3&parentid=8400&catID=8420&part=42-59-410

you can plug in your zip code and get the nearest dealer's information.

Stan, your link took me only to the Series 59, curved edge lights. The ones I have are the rectangular and now-unavailable 68 Series.

Sorry Andy,

I thought all Beavers had the 59s.

Check out RV Parts Outlet in Tualatin, OR.
They have a good selection of Bargman clearance lights and lenses.
I found both red and amber that matched the lenses on our 2004 Monterey.

Just so it's clear- the discontinued clearance lights are Bargman 68 series Red  as used on Patriots from the 1990s (and maybe early 2000s).

Darrel, RV Parts Outlet does not have this series of lights. I was trying to help anyone who needed to replace lights with cracked lenses. If they aren't cracked now, they will be.

Sorry for confusing everyone. I forgot to mention that the price for these lights is the cost of shipping them.

Hi,
I just replaced all my marker lights (amber & red ) on my 1991 beaver and Napa matched them perfectly, came with bulbs screws and gaskets, cost was $36 for the 10,had a bit of discount for ordering the 10.
hope this helps

I contacted Bargman (original supplier ) and the 68 Series lights both Red and Amber are discontinued.  Bargman does not have a direct fit replacement.  Optronics lists their MC48 Series as a replacement for the Bargman 68 Series. Malcolm do you know the Napa part number and which supplier ?

Now if there was just an LED version available.

Those lenses are readily available via Ryder Fleet Products P/N U13 18300Y (amber) and U13 18300R (red) for $2.70 each. Each one has the lamp, lens, wire connector and gasket.  They are much better quality then the original brand.

Karl

The  Ryder Fleet Products P/N U13 18300Y (amber) and U13 18300R (red) ( Truck-Lite 18300R/Y ) are about 5/8" wider and the screw mounting hole spacing is also 5/8" wider.  Did you have any problems installing these?

If these fit then an LED version is available Truck-Lite 18050R/Y.

These lenses fit perfectly as replacements to my original lenses.  Perhaps yours are a little different.  The fitment of these lenses into the recessed area is very important.  I would make sure there is enough room to install and not have any gap when mounted with the gasket.
