Water in air cleaner
« on: November 16, 2013, 09:32:53 PM »
I changed my air cleaner and it had about 2 gallons of water in the housing. My air intake is on the pass side.
It goes from there via a large hose to a sheet metal air box then via a hose to the air cleaner housing.
It had no place for the water to escape so I drilled 2 holes in the bottom of the sheet metal air box for the water to escape. Has anyone had this problem. I couldn't believe the factory didn't do this.

Fred,
The drain holes should have been in the air box from the factory.
