chassis battery cut off switch
« on: December 01, 2013, 05:12:28 PM »
I am going to install a blue sea cut off switch for my chassis batteries.  According to the instructions, they say that a should connect the positive cable to the switch.  However, there are three 02 positive cables, one to the engine, one to the generator and have not traced the third.  Kind of a pain to add these three to the switch.

I seem to remember somewhere in this forum that someone made the recommendation to always connect the switch to the ground cable, but I can not locate that thread anywhere.  This may have been a couple of years ago.

Any thoughts or comments on this.  My preference would be to do the ground cable.

Thanks

Mine is on the ground.  Works well.
