Xantrex RS2000 Remote Switch

During long term storage it is very difficult or impossible for me to access the Xantrex inverter/charger because adjacent RVs prevent opening the bin doors. I believe I have to access the on/off switch on the inverter to turn it on so I can activate the charger to charge the batteries with the generator.

There is a Freedom 'remote' switch with cable for the 2012 and 3012 Freedom models. Is this switch compatible with the RS2000 and is there a connection for such a remote switch on the inverter? Alternatives?

I just replaced my RS2000 and looked at that switch. It just requires some wire cutting, remove switch extend wiring (solder & shrink wrap tube) place switch where you want it.
