In the process of inspecting the chassis of my new/old 2006 Beaver Patriot Thunder, I discovered that the left tag axle support bracket was installed backwards so that the taper that is suppose to give proper tire clearance when the tag is raised is on the wrong side which causes the tire to hit or come extremely close to the bracket.
You can see if both brackets are correct by looking above the tag tires from the side with tag down and aired up for better view.
I easily fixed mine with an air grinder....... so all is good................
