Acme Dash AC Problem
«

I have a 2002 Marquis with mid-entry and 1-1/2 baths. The dash ac just blows hot air. It had been blowing cold air when first starting in the morning but if you shut the engine down, when you restarted the dash ac would only blow hot air. The ac unit is an Acme which is out of business. I can't find any documentation that gives any schematics or diagrams. Has anyone else had this problem and what was the fix?

Ed,
The first thing to check is the refrigerant level in the system, because it sounds like you may be low. If the system is fully charged, the next thing to check is the trinary switch, and then the control panel.
