Fresh water to tank
« on: August 24, 2014, 01:17:48 AM »
Hello all.

We have a 1993 Beaver Contessa. We are experiencing a problem with filling our fresh water tank.  It goes right to overflow.  We have confirmed that the tank is empty. There must be a block somewhere that is preventing the water to go into the tank.  Am checking the selenoid.  There are no other shut valves..

Appreciate any ideas that other Beaver owners might offer.

Thank you.

You are positive the tank's dump valve is switched off?  It might be the tank's dump and not the overflow you are seeing.

James,
Water can not come out the overflow pipe unless the tank is full. I am with Joel on this one, you must have the tank drain open.

There could also be a low point drain that is open that is beyond the fill valve.

Thank you guys, we think we solved the problem.  The selenoid was not opened enough and the valve on the outside was open.  Thanks for responding.  Why we like being members of the Beaver Ambassadors.

Now we move on to fxing the back up camera.
