AQUA HOT model AHE 100-02S
« on: October 21, 2014, 12:32:59 AM »
We had some work done which required complete shut off of all power including battery and inverter shut off.  We tried to start the diesel burner and get nothing. I'm not sure but in other posts I have read that a complete power shut off  may require the reset button to be reset in order to get the desire burner going. The electric burner is working but it is getting down to 32 degrees. Not sure where the reset button is on our 2003 Marquis Sapphire

John,

Not sure where yours is...but FWIW ours is at the top of the control panel on the wall of the bay where the Hydro Hot (in our case...same thing). I understand you need a paper clip that has been twisted straight to poke in the hole far enough. Ours is marked "reset".

Good luck,

I'm not sure here, but I think my AquaHot is also an 02S, and I don't have a control panel on the wall outside the interior box.  I will have to look again, but I thought by switching the AquaHot's diesel burner switch inside the coach to off does the reset.  I better get the book and take a look.  I know at one time about two years ago my AquaHot's diesel burner would not fire up.  I opened the interior box and found a fuse had blown... replaced the fuse and it started working again.  If memory serves me, the fuse block is located inside the interior box at the upper right... about 6 fuses.  They are easy to get to.  Push out the living room slide several inches, take off the outer box's door (two spring clips), and take off the interior box's door (several small screws)... look in the upper right corner.

Yes.  I found it.  On page 12 of the manual it says to reset the diesel burner turn off the diesel burner switch for 5 (five) seconds.  The diesel burner toggle switch (along with the engine pre-heat toggle switch) is located (in my coach) just above the kitchen sink, facing forward, left of the living room thermostat.

Here is a link to the online manual if you don't have it.   5.18 MB .pdf file

Thanks for the info. I must have reset the burner when I took the switch plate off to make sure it had power. Put it back together and the burner came on. Must be a miracle!!

If  for any reason, the AH fails to start it will go into Default, by switching off and back on, a reset is done
