Wanted: 2000 Marquis Driving Light

My 2000 Marquis is missing the driver side driving light. I need the entire light assembly with the bulb, mounting bracket and hardware.  If anyone has one or knows where to find one I would be grateful.

I am currently at BCS and Mike tells me that none of these components are available new and he doesn't have one in stock.

Other than a wrecking yard somewhere, I would give Northwest RV Supply in Eugene a call. They have a lot of surplus RV parts from the Oregon manufacturing plants, and they may have one or something that will work. The problem my be that you could possibly have to fabricate the mounting bracket, but that should not be a big problem.

Another possibility is RV Salvage, http://en.visonerv.com/cgi-bin/c/rvsalvagemotorhomes-partingout.pl   606-843-9889. Never used them but they seem to have a fairly good stock.

Jim, Are you are talking about the round fog light? If you are they also came from a 1998 to 2002 Lincoln Navigator. The bracket is very primitive any welding shop could make it very quickly.

OK, that makes sense since the headlight and taillight housings (although someone said the taillight housings are from a '98 Econoline van) are also from that era Navigator as well.  Looks like the housing hold down straps could easily be made.  

The whole mounting seems somewhat of a cobbled together affair if you ask me.

Jim,   I put 7" HID Xenon projector lights in mine. They make the old lights look like candles. The brackets were easy to make.

What brand and model lights?  Did you fabricate a completely new mount?

Jim, I used round headlight cans for a Jeep Wrangler (1997 - 2006). You can find them at almost any junkyard. I made the brackets with adjustment knobs on rear of light so they are easy to line up. The lights I used were from eBay #   181396392378 . You should also do the 'Meuller Modification' to all of your lights. Low voltage was a big problem on these coaches.

The driving lights are on a circuit separate from the headlights. The Mueller mod will address headlight voltage but not driving or parking light voltage.

Ok, I had the relay installed and saw a noticeable difference in headlight brightness.  Now to install new driving lights.  Thanks everyone for the help on this.
